The FOOB Library

Let us introduce you to the FOOB Library – one of our main sources of inspiration. Just like other areas of our studio, the library is meticulously curated with our design aesthetics in mind.

Over time, the agency has collected quite a collection of magazines and books. Franziska places a lot of value in well-designed magazines and books, and always encourages us to check out items from the library whenever we need some inspiration. The library is a designer’s dream – the magazine collection includes Vogue (France, Italy, UK, Germany…), Elle, Monocle, Wallpaper, Kinfolk, CEREAL, and so much more. There is also a huge collection of books on the fields of fashion, graphic design and photography.

The seating arrangement and workspace area are just as impressive as the collection of books. As an agency, we place great importance in minimalism and simplicity, and these tables and chairs from E15 were the perfect fit for us.

The Ponte Table, designed by Phillip Mainzer, is a minimalist’s dream. This classic design made of European walnut wood is the ultimate workspace table.

With the Ponte table, we paired the Langley stool, designed by David Chipperfield. Just like the table, Langley is made of European walnut wood and is elegant in its simplest form.

Tafel bench, designed by Hans de Pelsmacker, completes our seating arrangement. This practical seating-and-table combo matches our tables and chairs perfectly.

The workspace area is equipped with wishbone chairs designed by Hans Wegner. This celebrated chair is another classic that adds a hint of curve in the library.
